The sequence shows two elements converging from opposite corners toward the center, crossing over, then diverging to opposite corners. Each frame has two positions: one occupied by an X shape and one by an O shape. Frame 1: X at top-left, O at top-right. Frame 2: X moves inward to middle-left, O moves inward to middle-right. Frame 3: X and O overlap at the center — both elements coincide. Frame 4: X continues to middle-right, O continues to middle-left — they cross past each other. Frame 5: X reaches bottom-right, O reaches bottom-left — swapped diagonals from Frame 1. Frame 6 should continue the linear motion path: the elements advance one more step along their trajectory. Starting from Frame 5, X at bottom-right moves up-right, O at bottom-left moves up-left. They reach the middle-right and middle-left positions respectively — that is the center overlap row. This brings them back to overlapping at the center, symmetric with Frame 3. The pattern is symmetric: the convergence in Frames 1→3 mirrors the divergence in Frames 3→5, so Frame 6 mirrors Frame 3 (center overlap).
Explicación
Option C shows the X and O overlapping at the center, matching the center-overlap frame that repeats every 4 steps. Option A places the X at top-left and O at top-right — that is Frame 1, which is 5 steps behind, not 1 step forward. Option B shows X at middle-left and O at middle-right — this is Frame 2, a convergence step already passed. Option D shows X at bottom-right and O at bottom-left — this is Frame 5, the current frame identically, not the next frame. Option E places the X at middle-right and O at middle-left without overlap — this is Frame 4, during the divergence phase, before the elements reach the center.
