Published profile
EPSO/AST/157/25 recruits AST3 assistants in three fields: graphic design and visual content production (159 reserve places), social media and digital communication (150), and webmaster (126). Candidates could apply to one field only.
Test sequence
- •Verbal reasoning: 20 questions in 35 minutes; pass mark 10/20.
- •Numerical reasoning: 10 questions in 20 minutes.
- •Abstract reasoning: 10 questions in 10 minutes.
- •Numerical and abstract reasoning share a combined pass mark of 10/20.
- •Field-related MCQ: 30 questions in 40 minutes; pass mark 15/30 and score used for ranking.
- •EUFTE: 40 minutes; pass mark 5/10; written in language 2 using supplied EU-matters documentation.
Ranking logic
The field MCQ is both a pass gate and a ranking instrument. Eligibility and EUFTE processing generally proceed for candidates with the highest field scores, up to about 1.5 times the field reserve-list target. Aim above the minimum.
Training method
Use one 80-second decision cycle per field question: classify duty, identify governing principle, eliminate options that solve a different communication problem, then verify the selected action against audience, channel, accessibility, evidence and institutional constraints.
